Descriptions, images, drawings and plans in these websites are included as guidance only. J. Schofield Ltd does not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions in the descriptions, images and illustrations or for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on such descriptions or illustrations.
Purchases made by customers in the EU include VAT at the prevailing rate in the UK. Customers outside the EU are not liable for VAT and in such cases the prices on the websites are deemed to be exclusive of VAT and of any tax due in the country to which the item is delivered.
In all cases J. Schofield Ltd reserves the right to increase or decrease the prices shown on any of the websites without prior notice.
Ownership of goods:
The legal ownership in any goods supplied by J. Schofield Ltd shall not pass to the purchaser until payment in full has been received.
Warranty:
We warrant that goods manufactured or supplied by J. Schofield Ltd shall, at the date of delivery, be free from material defects due to faulty materials or workmanship and if such is not the case we will refund the full purchase price upon return to us of the faulty goods.
Liability:
J. Schofield Ltd shall not in any circumstances be liable for any failure to perform where such failure is due to any cause beyond our reasonable control including for example act of God, governmental act, industrial dispute, accident or fire, transport delay or any act of a third party.
J. Schofield Ltd shall not under any circumstances be liable for injury or death or any other direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the products purchased on these websites save where liability cannot be lawfully excluded.
In the event that any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these Terms and Conditions are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction which that Term or Condition is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from the relevant clause and the remaining terms and conditions shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
Governing law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the Laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh Courts of Law.
